February Cards Class at Scrappy Hollow

Thank you to all the ladies who attended my first cards class for 2013 at Scrappy Hollow last week.  It was great to welcome back the familiar faces from 2012 and to meet some new ladies.  Here is what we made with the Kaisercraft Periwinkle collection.

As was the case in 2012 my classes are booking up quickly for 2013.  My March class is already fully booked. Thank you all so much for supporting me - I am feeling very honoured that you keep coming to class and some of you have booked in for the remainder of the year which is AMAZING!!!! Thank you!!!!! It is so rewarding and a lot of fun teaching class and watching you create beautiful cards you are proud of.

For those who are booked in to the March class you will be creating some  "all occassion" cards using the MME Lost & Found 3 Oliver range. There are both male and female designs and can be personalised once you decide who will be the recipient and why you are giving it to them. The special fold for the class will be a centre step card. The samples are on display in the store and here is a sneak peak.

Thanks again for the much appreciated support and see you in class!!!

Happy1st Birthday!

Wow it has been an incredibly bust  week for me as I return to teaching and DT assignments for 2013 after a 3 week holiday.  I am so lucky to be working in an industry that I absolutely love, with incredibly talented ladies and a great group of customers.

One of my first New Year creations was a birthday card for my incredible gorgeous Great Niece.  It was her first birthday and we travelled to NSW to celebrate with her.  Here is the card I created.

There was lots of layering on the card.  I am so loving making cards with fish tailing, layering and layered dimension.

The papers were from Three Bugs in a Rug - Ellie 6x6 paper pad.
Butterfly punch by EK Success
Labels from Sizzix and a Martha Stewart doily.

Thanks for stopping by!

Aussie Scrap Source Design Team

Last week over at ASS I was their featured DT member.  Here is a link to the post.  I am still so incredibly grateful and honoured to be part of this amazing DT.  I pinch myself every time I see my name and projects featured on their blog alongside all of the other DT members - many of whom I have followed for years!  To have been asked to join has been a dream come true!  I am looking forward to a year filled with lots of new and exciting paper crafting adventure with Aussie.  My first post should hit the blog an March so stay tuned!!!!!

Here are some of the projects I created for the DT feature post:

First up an inspiration board that I made for my craft studio -

Apologies to you all!

I am sorry to have to write this post. I have had to enable word verification for comments onto the settings for my blog in an attempt to cut down on the amount of spam comments that I am receiving. 24 in one day is, I feel, out of control and sooooo annoying.

I would still love to hear from all of you and hope the additional step of providing word verification is not too frustrating.

Thanks for your understanding!
